Watch the time! Please note, Athens is in the “Eastern European” time zone which is UTC +02:00. The timings in the Agenda refer to local time. This is important for the on-line participants.
Getting from the airport to the hotel!
By Taxi: Taxis are available outside Exit 3 of arrival level. A taxi from the airport to the city centre costs approx. 45 Euros.
By Subway: Metro Line 3 “Blue line” connects the airport to the city centre – Syntagma Square. There you have to change to Line 2 “Red line” direction Elliniko and get of at the next station Akropolis. From there it is a 5 min walk to the Royal Olympic hotel. The journey takes approx. 50 minutes. Trains run every 30 minutes from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm. One way tickets cost 9 Euros and must be purchased at the ticket machines at the Metro station.
