EASA Annual Safety Conference 2019 “Airline operational safety: a vision for the future”

EASA’s Annual Safety Conference has a longstanding tradition of addressing a different safety topic every year. The 2019 conference focuses on operational safety in the context of commercial air transport.

Industry stakeholders, aviation regulators and the Agency have gone a long way toward ensuring ever safer airline operations. Nevertheless, the landscape keeps evolving and new challenges as well as new opportunities arise constantly.

We invite you to participate and discuss with us some of the main challenges and opportunities we are facing currently – and how to best tackle them. Themes will include topics such as the safety of winter operations, the impact of digitalisation on aviation safety, the challenges of leasing operations and enhancing the resilience of safety management systems. We will conclude with our vision for safer operations in 2020 and beyond.
