Cargolux and Luxair are jointly hosting the 70th GA Meeting in Luxembourg
In 1970, Cargolux Airlines International S.A. started operations from its newly established home base at Luxembourg airport with a handful of Canadair CL-44 freighters. 45 years later, Cargolux is Europe’s biggest all-cargo airline with a fleet of modern Boeing 747-8 and 747-400 freighters. Cargolux is a launch customer for the technologically advanced 747-8F that joined the fleet in late 2011 and is the world’s first operator of this aircraft type. Luxair Luxembourg Airlines is a modern and efficient airline which plays a key role in Luxembourg’s economy by connecting the country to many European cities and major business centres. Luxair Luxembourg Airlines operates a fleet of modern and comfortable aircraft (Boeing 737 and Bombardier Q400). Luxembourg Airport is also the home of Luxair Technics, Luxair’s aircraft maintenance for the entire fleet as well as of the training centre for pilot and cabin crew training.
Monday 01 April: Workinggroupmeetings (For WG-members only) start at 14.00 hours. Meeting venue is the Alvisse Park Hotel. We will meet in the Lobby.
Tuesday 02 April: As off 08.30 hours a check-in desk will be opened at the meeting venue Chambre de Commerce de Luxembourg where you can register and receive an information package.
Opening of meeting at 09.00, closure at about 17.00 hours, including buffet lunch.
18.15 hours Departure for social event. Dresscode casual.
Wednesday 03 April:
Opening of meeting at 08.30 hours, closure at 12.00 hours, take-away lunch available afterwards.

This Hotel is 2,1 Km from the conference venue, 15 min by bus, 6 min by taxi
Important Update Note :
During both days we recommend the attendees staying in this hotel to use the Tram (Station Theatre only 50 meters away, every 6-8 minutes a tram cost max. 4€ per day ! Link: http://www.luxtram.lu/de/fahrplan-2/ ) to the Chamber of Commerce (Tram Station PARLEMENT EUROPÉEN or Coque +/- 500m to walk) , this as the location of the Hotel is very difficult for a bus to pick –up or let out people! And even more in relation to the traffic jam situation on the roads around this Hotel in the morning & afternoon ! For the GA meeting there is no bus shuttle service to the CoC! For the social event in the evening of 02nd of April a Bus (smaller one) will be available for the attendees from the Hotel Best Western Victor Hugo to go and come back from the social event location .

Transport:
Cargolux / Luxair will arrange bus shuttle from Alvisse and Légère hotels to the CdC, as well as to the dinner event. Flipcharts will be at the hotels and/or reception with the bus timings.
For airport-hotel transfer, there is Webex Taxi https://www.webtaxi.lu/ that participants can order online or take regular taxi in front of the airport entrance (more expensive).
Participants can also contact the hotels to arrange the airport-hotel transfer with their shuttle.
There is a useful website with public transport information: https://www.mobiliteit.lu/ in case someone prefers to take the public bus or would like to go and visit the city center.
