New Supervisory Board member for Airline/MRO

Dear members!

Maria Eugenia Isabel Olmos, the recently selected SB member for Airline/MRO, informed us that due to internal restructuring in Iberia, she has advanced to a new position as Safety & Quality Director. Given these new responsibilities she is no longer in the position to attend our meetings and represent the Airline/MRO stakeholders in the Supervisory Board.

The EC would like to thank Maria for her engagement and support of our association, her participation in media working group and the SB.

We wish her all the best in her new position.

During the last SB selection we did have a second candidate for Airline/MRO, Mr Pierre Bonario (AIR FRANCE),  who received valid votes from the respective group. The EC and the remaining SB members agreed to ask Pierre to stand in for Maria for the current term.

Here is his introduction:

My name is Pierre Bonaria. I am currently in charge of Purchasing, Contracts and Partnerships management for AIR FRANCE Maintenance Training Center. Our Training Center is in charge to provide maintenance departments with all trainings they need with respect of EASA Part 66, Part 145 and Part 147 regulations.

The training center is also working with the Pilots and Crews Academy, the Ground Handling and Airport Training center and the Cargo Training center. I was previously Sales and Marketing Director for Maintenance Training Solutions and before that Sales Manager for Middle East and Africa for Maintenance Services (Mainly Engine and Component supports but not only) for roughly 10 years.

As regard to my level of education, I hold a university degree in Mechanics and an eMBA ”Major in Aviation” from HEC. The deep knowledge of the MRO and the airlines activities gained through my professional background combined with the skills got from my eMBA will be beneficent to the SB.

We are looking forward to having Pierre in the next SB meeting

With best regards,

The Executive Committee,

Hans, Harald and Søren
